The Job
Tasks:
You will be involved in and responsible for moving, positioning and maintenance of the platform and equipment during operation. You will prepare repair lists and deliver data and monitor and order spare parts and consumables. You will Instruct subcontractors concerning operation mode and repairs, inspect work done and assure quality by (de)mobilisation and prepare towing execution of platform. Prepare weekly reports concerning: progress, delays and operational status. You will interact with (local) authorities and agencies to obtain permits and certificates when necessary. Managing and training the maintenance crew.
Main responsibilities are to perfom tasks within the allocated time and meeting the required quality level. This includes all safety aspects on board and administration concerning contracts and maintenance.
We ask
- Proven work experience, minimal 5 years, in a similar position in the Jack-Up offshore or maritime industry. - Mid to higher equivalent education in mechanical or naval engineering. - Fluent English. - Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems. - Experience with floating and heavy equipment. - Proven work experience, minimal 5 years, in a similar position in the Jack-Up offshore or maritime industry. - In possession of ASET certificate - Experience with Jack-Up Barges /jacking equipment for offshore oil and gas or offshore windmill is a preference.
You're an EU/EER citizen with fluency in English. A work permit will not be provided.
