The Job
As a Dutch Language Editor, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of a large volume of new PC titles for our Dutch web portal. Notice: this job requires fluency in Dutch. Candidates who do not meet that criterium will not be considered. Thanks for understanding.
You will be responsible for editing and proofing game content, ensuring game content adheres to house style and guidelines.
You excel at handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment – all with the goal of furthering the company's international growth and success. Additionally, you share a deep interest in languages and Online Games; you love to take on new challenges and are eager to join an agile, fun, and culturally diverse team that's on the forefront of casual games.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Edit existing localized game content and file bug reports
Maintain multiple projects at once while handling short release cycles and tight deadlines
Proofread a variety of texts for Dutch Portal:
Work with Dutch Content Management team to make recommendations for site improvements
Handle additional projects as needed
We ask
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred
Must be fluent in English and Dutch (Native Tongue strongly preferred)
Dutch to English and English to Dutch translation experience a plus
Great attention to detail and passionate about the Dutch language
Experience working with Java, Flash, or Director games a plus
6+ months working experience as a game tester preferred
Ability to be a team player who works well in a culturally diverse environment while shining as an individual and maintaining a sense of humor
Excellent computer skills and MS Office Suite knowledge
Passion for casual games a must
