The Job
We have an opening for an Offshore Application Engineer in our Energy Services Group located in the Netherlands. The Offshore Application Engineer will primarily be responsible for providing contractual services and assist customers with problem solving support regarding their products and applications to provide solutions.
Working offshore on a rotational basis providing fluids analysis and trouble-shooting our offshore chemists
Multi-tasking specialists who can provide analytical support with laboratory and chemical management.
Successful offshore chemists demonstrate initiative and technical competency coupled with a desire to develop their expertise and career within the oilfield chemicals arena.
Provide on-site field service and/or 24-hour over-the-phone or on-site assistance
Conduct site surveys, product/application/system audits, direction, training and motivation of a supporting staff and ensure implementation of the Six Service Standards at all client sites
In addition, this position may be required to provide sole account and relationship management for assigned accounts
We ask
Ideal applicants will be experienced in generic laboratory analysis techniques and oil and gas processing
Strong commitment to QHSE values and the ability to work as part of an offshore team are essential
This role can provide a clear progression path into more senior and challenging functions
