Our client operates internationally in major offshore construction and submarine pipelaying projects. With offices all over the globe our client services all major oil companies with their EPCM services. Our customer lays pipe using the S-lay method. This is used for a fast installation process and it is usable from shallow to ultra deep water. The Job
Our client operates internationally in major offshore construction and submarine pipelaying projects. Our client is currently looking for a Project Manager with offshore pipelaying experience. The responsibilities of the project manager will be:
Manage the design, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning of the pipelaying projects;
Responsible for the refurbishment of the pipelay barges and support vessels;
Leading a professional group of Engineers for one or several projects;
Execute small to large projects world wide;
Ensure the observance of quality and safety procedures and practices;
Define the project team, discussing with relevant responsible persons the resources available/required for the project;
We ask
BSc degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering;
at least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager;
at least 5 years of experience as a Pipeline, Mechanical or Structural Engineer in the Offshore industry;
at least 2 years of experience with submarine pipelines;
willing to travel.
