The Job
We currently have an opportunity for a Warehouse Administrator to join our Equipment Supply Chain department based in Den Bosch (The Netherlands).
The Warehouse Administrator will primarily be responsible for the efficient allocation, administration and customer service for shipments from the Den Bosch warehouse to all EMEA countries.
This position requires a pro-active attitude for following up and effective communication on planning and delivery time information to internal/external customers.
Other Responsibilities include:
Daily tracking of open orders and ensuring timely shipments and delivery performance
Pro-active communication and follow up with European order management & customer service teams, internal customers, and freight forwarders
Entry of export orders, proper acknowledgement to customers on delivery information and ensure all Nalco policies and procedures are applied prior to export transactions and ensuring that all documents are provided including legislation of Chamber of Commerce, Embassy etc.
Actively finding most cost-effective ways for shipping orders by freight consolidation, choosing the right carrier/service etc.
Communicate with warehouse personnel on planning and priorities of dispatch. Provide proper instructions on shipments to be dispatched
Facilitate all documentation required to support shipments

The minimum qualification the candidate will have include:
Education equivalent to college level (MBO-MBO+)
Work experience in the field of customer services/ Export (non EU) or equivalent desired
Administrative experience would be an advantage
Experience in export shipments and ADR desirable
Good knowledge of a variety of computer software, including word processing, Excel, and databases
Key skills:
Dutch (at least good) and English (fluent) language skills, other European languages would be a plus
Strong communication skills (both written and spoken)
Extravert, driven, conscientious/service minded person, able to operate under pressure for shipping deadlines
Accuracy, team player, analytical and curious mind
Experience with ERP systems (i.e. SAP) is preferred
