Frontend Engineer - Desktop/JavaScript

We are looking for a number of Frontend Engineers to join our business, who comes from a JavaScript / PHP background and can help us to achieve the very highest standards in code quality, performance and security. Your role will be to develop, enhance, and maintain our frontend application and play a pivotal role in developing our product. From mid-level, through to Lead, we are looking to hire great talent at our location in Utrecht, The Netherlands or remote.

- Designing and developing our platform to scale and expand into new markets
- Development of our frontend application
- Implementation of design specifications from our UI/UX designer
- Debugging, root-cause analysis, bug fixing

Requirements

- 3+ years of development experience in a product-driven environment
- Native level of fluency in English (spoken and written)
- You like to work independent but in a highly motivated and passionate team
- Experience with scrum development, measuring results with a data-driven approach, and incorporating feedback of customers
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, PHP
- Working knowledge of Git (and GitHub)
- You enjoy working on a mission-critical product
- Strong collaboration and communication skills. As a team player, you enjoy both mentoring and being mentored by your co-workers.

- Working knowledge of using GraphQL and REST API's
- Working knowledge of Tailwind CSS
- Working knowledge of Laravel
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Working knowledge of cloud-provider deployments (AWS, Fastly)
- Good level of fluency in Dutch (spoken and written)
